Think perhaps I'll start off by trying to answer some of your questions:

No I've never been on a night mission. We never did much of that. The British specialize in it however. Back when we first came here the British planes would be starting out about sundown every night. Don't know whether I'd care for it or not.

Congratulations on your reading - never thought I'd see the day when you'd enjoy economics + so forth. Of this, the less said the better you might have a change of heart.
