Hi Darling,
Received three letters tonight two from you - an airmail of the 5th + a V-mail of the 6th. A letter from Bill F. + a bunch of Gazettes so I haven't anything to complain about.
You said Bill N. called you in the letter but referred to the day previous letter - so now I don't know where he's going or anything till I get the letter from the 4th. This mail exasperates one, at times.
You wondered how many of us were flying the day we went down. There were eleven - camera man being the extra. The bombadier [sic.] broke an ankle bone when he landed - we left him at a Russian hospital in Hungary. The navigator was on his first mission
