10 March 45

Hi Darling,

Got a V-mail + an Airmail last night both of the 26th. Also a letter from Booky finally. Didn't write last night cause I was really tired for a change.

Well I'm getting a little closer to the goal. Put in number thirty-two quite uneventfully, thank goodness. I hope the rest will be nice quiet ones. Had a couple of fighters hanging around on the last trip but they didn't bother us but went after the bunch behind us. I watched them for about a half an hour even tho they were barely discernable [sic.].

Getting a box at the Post Office is a good idea. Mom had one for about 15 years. I can still remember the number - 178.
