26 March 45

10 PM

Hi Darling,

Received two letters from you today 14th + 15th of March.

You asked me about opening a checking acct. Don't really think it'll be necessary hon, I'm sure that I'll be able to call you soon enough to make arrangements along the financial line if we should decide to do Chi up first.

Guess I didn't use very good judgement when I mentioned to Mom about the ship burning. Hadn't thought she'd be upset over it

Got two more snapshots today. One of you + Casey + the other of you writing, those snaps certainly look good. Incidentally if you haven't sent them all yet, perhaps you'd better hold them till I get home because I don't expect to be here much over two weeks, then I have to wait for a banana boat.

Well hon, think I'll have to tell you what I had intended to get you. Wish it was practical but I realize now it isn't.
