3 April 45

Hi Darling,

Really got some fast mail tonight. Three letters from you, March 24th, 26th + 27th + one from Mom of the 28th. Fastest I've ever received mail. Got nine more snapshots, all really swell. The apt looks very nice but you look wonderful (remind me to look at the apt in the pictures sometime.)

I've really been very lax in writing to you lately - about every other day -

So you can't talk out loud - mean tho' it is - I almost burst when I read that

Hope you received your check by this time. Sent fifty dollars today, am keeping a hundred with me - should be enough for my needs till I get home. Will probably go to Naples the day after tomorrow.

Darnit, did have a lot of things to write but they've all seemed to have slipped my mind.
