<p>No. 14.&mdash;IN MEMORIAM.</p>

<p><hi rend="smallcaps">If</hi> someone said you were the rage,<lb>
And had returned to us to-day,<lb>
And I went off to see the play,<lb>
And saw you standing on the stage,</p>

<p>And if about you I could see<lb>
Your golden hair in masses twine,<lb>
The same rich hair that used to shine,<lb>
And you the same you used to be,</p>

<p>And I should tell you we were sad,<lb>
And say that you could ill be spared,<lb>
And very ill the public fared,<lb>
And you imagine we were mad,</p>

<p>In all sincerity I&apos;d say,<lb>
Despite a clever sister&apos;s fame,<lb>
&apos;Tis true that <hi rend="smallcaps">Ellen Terry&apos;s</hi> name<lb>
Suggests a flower for our bouquet.</p>
