LE THÉ.—Un savant a découvert, au moyen du microscope, qu'au moment où l'on verse du lait dans une tasse de thé, l'albumine du lait et l'acide tanique du thé se combinent et forment, du cuir, ou du moins de petits filaments de la même composition que le cuir tanné. En conséquence, le savant estime que dans le cours d'une année, un buveur de thé, consommant journellement trois tasses de ce breuvage, avale assez de cuir pour faire une paire de bottes.
